Addison 1st Baseball Game

On July 28 Addison went to her first baseball game..The Atlanta Braves were playing the St Louis Cardinals..
It was supposed to be a 1:30 games but ESPN got the tv rights and changed it to a 8:00 pm game..
We ended up getting there around 7 and grabbed a bite to eat..
Addison mostly watched the kids in front of us and payed little attention to the game..
We only stayed a couple innings..

Cooked legs the other day and we gave one to Addison last night..

Wasn't sure she was going to like it or not, but dunking it in some ketchup she devoured it..

Mother's Day

Here are fun photos we took at church for Mother's Day.  It was a nice day.  Charles made breakfast and gave me some flowers along with some other things.  We went to eat at a new Southern style restaurant and had family style- cornbread muffins, fried chicken and ham, green beans, mac & cheese, dressing and apple cobbler.  Reminded me of a family reunion.

Allie's baptism

We headed down to Savannah for the week-end for Dodies niece's baptism..Since Dodies sister husband parents, not sure if there is a phrase for that, had a plane and was going down there also we decided to hitch a ride..At first Dodie and I were somewhat nervous getting into a "smaller" plane but it turned out to be not that bad. There was some turbulence coming back but since we were mostly above the clouds it only lasted a short period of time. During the turbulence Dodie and I faces were both turning a shade of white, while Addison was content putting together a puzzle on mommy's ipad mini and didn't bother her a bit.

Today is mommy's birthday..Unfortunately she had to leave early this morning for work so Addison and I created a sign..

Happy Easter

Hope everyone had a Happy Easter..
Atlanta was expecting a lot of rain this week-end but both Saturday and Sunday turned out to be good days. On Saturday we hid some eggs for Addison and her friend Cole in our backyard for them to find..

Then on Sunday we went to Grandma Connie house and got some more eggs..

Luckily all the eggs did not contain chocolate and sweets, but some of them contained stickers and money..

New House

We moved in our new house 3 weeks ago and we are finally starting to see more floor than boxes.  We had several weeks between the closing and when we moved in so we were able to have a couple of rooms painted and new appliances bought and set up.

The house is less than 10 minutes from where we were renting for the last year in Kennesaw.  The neighborhood called "The Enclaves" has about 36 houses and shares a tennis and pool with another neighborhood.
